HT1000,HT750 and CP200 cannot read.

Post

I have downloaded software for the HT1000 but software was for UHF and all of these radios are VHF. My rib cable powers up and I have used it to program my CP200 back about 7 or 8 years ago. I have a couple of older computers with windows xp on them and one with windows7. Iam new here and haven't done any programming for a good while. I would like to Purchase updated hardware cables if thats what I need or if someone could show me where to download the software I need and how to fix my com port problem. Also tell me how to do gift points for someones help.

Thanks

I believe if you do some reading that your computers are too fast. These radios were in vogue 20 years ago. Moto didn't upgrade these to deal with Windows. I did ht and jt1000s and there was a program called moslow to slow computers so you didn't over speed the radio. I use a 486 itronix laptop to program with.
There's was a site called batlabs that detailed it.
Good luck

Motorola HT1000 uses DOS.  You need to use Microsoft MS DOS.
