Hytera TC-320 Programming

Post

Hi all!! I was able to download and install the programming software and the drivers that are supposed to be correct for the TC320 radios.  The problem I am having, is that the software will not connect to the radio.  Even after the so called "correct" drivers were  installed still no connection.  I am using a mini USB cable that fits the radio and connects to the pc. The pc is on windows 7 64Bit.  Every time i connect i receive an error message stating that the device is unknown and nothing happens.  The PC is definitely seeing the radio when connected, but software wont read the radio.  Has any one else had this problem?  I noticed during searching that most places sell a programming cable.  Some cables look identical to a regular mini USB cable others slightly different.  The "PC30" programming cable itself looks slightly larger, maybe having an IC chip inside of it.  Any help on this issue would much appreciated.  I am attempting to get some new radios that were purchased to work with our other TC320 models we have on site.  Thanks guys,  hope to get a response

You have to get the proper cable for that radio.. a standard mini usb cable will not work. but you already knew that right?

Go on ebay or the HYT website and order a cable for the 320 if you have not already.
