Unknown password for read/write access. KPG159ND software.

I am unable to read or write to Kenwood TK2402V radio due to an unknown password.
Using KPG159DN software with the correct cable.
Is a work around available to resolve this issue?
Or any other ideas how to resolve the issue. [  Factory reset ?  Engineering info ?   Etc.  ]
