Ii can be USB issue but also drive problem .secondly software issue software no compatible.but any how I am going to check with some if they have latest version software today and see what he comes up with .in the mean time when you install software and it don't work uninstall it the reinstall it .tell this did get a drive with some cable .especialy Motorola some them automaticlaly find the driver .I guest is from way it sound it is a UHF radio.and also some of the program you must change the band with of radio meaning .where I start like 400-500 or from 450- to 480 if you don't do that the radio won't read or write .so make sure all those are in order .and last thing the properly plug in.in addition .when you open the software plug the USB out and plug it in once more let me know the out .and also if you are trying the same message .I will check out tif they have later version software OK .another thing what is is system you are using

I'm pretty sure that the programing software is the problem. I have both radios - mitex general and the mitex general extreme. The sfe programming software and the cable works perfect with the mitex general radio. The problem is when i try to connect the mitex general xtreme radio.

Just got this to work for me as well today. I was trying with S-820 software, Win 7 and Kenwood/Beofeng usb cable.
When I changed to S-580 program it worked no problem!

Hi there

I was hoping you could assist. I have version 2.1.1 of the DMR software, but it is full of bugs. It gives an exception when trying to add CTCSS codes.

It complains about data formats, yet the user selects the input from a drop-down, so the problem must be in the code.

Anyone have a more recent version? At the moment I cannot even open config files I saved yesterday, with digital-only config.

I downloaded the Mitex SFE s8x s9x files from here, but it did not work.

Details about the error:

See the end of this message for details on invoking
just-in-time (JIT) debugging instead of this dialog box.

************** JIT Debugging **************
To enable just-in-time (JIT) debugging, the .config file for this
application or computer (machine.config) must have the
jitDebugging value set in the system.windows.forms section.
The application must also be compiled with debugging
enabled.

For example:

<configuration>
    <system.windows.forms jitDebugging="true" />
</configuration>

When JIT debugging is enabled, any unhandled exception
will be sent to the JIT debugger registered on the computer
rather than be handled by this dialog box.
