Hello All
Need a Service Manual for the Tk-860. Not the G - seems to be plenty of G and H/G manuals on the abet.  This rig has 6 pin mic Jack

I have a tk860H without receive audio
Monitor function beeps but does not open squelch. Speaker good.  Other beeps/sounds from front panel buttons are loud. The volume buttons beep and the beep gets louder as you go to a higher setting.
The external speaker Jack has no audio.
The speaker Jack bypass contact seems as it should be
Just no receive audio. Tx is fine. Programming works fine.
Something is muting the Rx audio.

Help!

Thanks Bob. Kq2q

Have you tried flashing a blank config with just one channel and no additional info to see if its something configuration based? I have had this happen to me with kenwoods and making a new config solved it

Hello
I will try that a bit later today!

Just 1 channel entry without any bells or whistles!

Hope that works!
Thank you Bob. Kq2q

Just tried that suggestion of entering a simple one frequency channel.

I can enter program mode but getting a message to check connections; stop Scan Mode or Stop Transmit.

I’m using DOS box and USB cable as before   COM Port is matching ad before.

Seems that it would be nice if I could reset the Radios Microprocessor and clear the program memory
I have 5 channels programmed  and it transmits on All 5 channels - on frequency.
Just that there is no Audio on receive.
Strange but true!
