Answer It's an unfortunate fact that Paypal will not complete a donation transaction straight away, this is what they say:

Paypal said

eChecks are one type of bank payment and usually take 3-5 business days to process. We advise you not to ship items until you receive payment. The money is withdrawn from the sender's bank within a day or two. As soon as we receive confirmation of sufficient funds from the bank, we'll deposit the money into your PayPal account.

If you have the opportunity to donate directly from a Paypal account or debit card, please choose this option if you need the points straight away.
